Youth Ministry at St John Nepomucene Catholic Community serves youth in grades 5 through 12 and their families. There are various ways to be involved in youth ministry, such as retreats, monthly and summer events, small groups, diocesan conferences, and service opportunities.
Youth ministry consists of more than a child attending an event. Youth ministry is just that—a ministry, a process of discipleship (believing in Jesus and following Him in daily life). It is accepting each youth as they are and walking with them. We strive to minister to the whole person within their family.
There are eight pillars of youth ministry that we use as a foundation for what we offer and they consist of
- Community Life
- Justice & Service
- Pastoral Care
- Prayer & Worship
In order for youth ministry to be successful, we need volunteers! in various ways:
- Event volunteers
- Event planners
- Kitchen help
- Music leaders
- So much more!
For more information about how to get involved (as a youth or adult), contact Sarah Derouin at firstname.lastname@example.org or (920) 788-9033.
