Welcome to the St. John Nepomucene Faith Development home page. Our program serves students in grades 1-11 who attend various public schools or whose families home school their children. Our mission statement is "Inspiring lifelong Catholic disciples rooted in Word, Sacrament, Community and Service." It is our desire that we build on what they have learned at home and provide them with tools to enhance their relationship with God and our parish. Classes meet on Wednesday afternoon or evening from September through April.
We have a dedicated group of volunteer parishioners who are committed to teaching the youth of our parish. Not only do they commit to being present on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year, they also participate in our SAFE ENVIRONMENT training sessions and pursue personal faith enrichment by attending our catechist in-services.
Along with instruction in basic Catholic teachings we prepare students to receive the sacraments of Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation for the first time. Students learn the value of service to their parish and community throughout their years in Faith Development with an emphasis during their Confirmation preparation.
