The St. John Nepomucene Mission Club was founded in 1957.  We are a group of volunteers that get together on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. until noon and then from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. starting in September. We volunteer most Wednesdays until the middle of May. Some people make booties or mittens; some do aprons, kitchen towels, potholders, scrubbies (small and large) or crocheted hangers (which are ideal for your sweaters and nice tops).  This is just to name a few of the different items we have to offer! Some of the items are created in their homes then brought in. Our Mission Club also has a beautiful rug loom.

Would you like to make items for the Mission Club to sell?  We will provide materials for you.

The Mission Club members also make quilts ranging in size from baby or lap, up to king size. We take orders to tie your own quilt creations as well. Remember we can make a quilt with your colors or sell you what we have on hand if that saves you some time. We try to have our orders done for you in a timely fashion but we do need approximately three to four weeks to complete a quilt order.

The Mission Club also has a drop box outside of our Door #7.  We collect new and gently used clothing, linens, toys and small household items.  Would you like to help us sort and pack these items for our annual delivery to Model Valley Tennessee?  We could really use your help!

Thank you for looking as to what we have to offer! We hope we have provided an idea of what St. John Mission Club offers.

Here is your chance to contact us with your questions or to place an order for any of our products. Please call Rita at 920-788-2214 or Lynn at 920-427-1390. You may find us at DOOR NO.7 at St. John's Church, Pine Street side, on Wednesdays and are located directly north of our beautiful Prayer Garden in the lower level beneath our Church altar!

*** We are always in need of helpers so please come and share your time with us! *** If you would like to help by making something from home, we can provide yarn or fabric.

With the money we receive from our Mission Club sales, we help support the following ministries:

  •  Model Valley, TN (one shipment of clothing, toys, household goods); Community Clothes Closet (coats, linens, heavy winter items)
  • Racine Dominican Sisters and St. Francis of the Holy Cross – Bay Settlement
  • Friends of Haiti (Fr. Larry’s Mission Group)
  • Phillip the Apostle Green Bay Parish, for projects in Dominican Republic and Haiti (Dave Simon’s Mission Group)
  • Kimberly Holy Spirit Mission Group (silky fabrics, quilt squares, filler)
  • Courtney Woolen Mill (we purchase fluffy fillers for most of our quilts)

May God Bless You and Us in our many ministries!
